Personalized support and less pain (Soto-Pérez-de-Celis, The Oncologist 2021)
Cancer isn’t crossed only in the body: also in pain and in daily life. Soto-Pérez-de-Celis’ research shows that support is part of care, not an add-on.
What the study found
With personalized support and coordinated access to supportive care, there were 70% fewer patients in moderate or severe pain. Human support changes how the process is lived, adherence, and the sense of control.
What it means for you during treatment
You don’t have to do it alone. Having someone who organizes the process, coordinates support, and adjusts the plan reduces improvisation and burden — including pain.
How IronHumans applies it
The method puts one-on-one human support at the center: you don’t get a generic plan, but a sustained process that adapts to you and your family.
