Lowering recurrence risk in aggressive breast cancer (Soldato, Journal of Clinical Oncology 2024)

After treatment, the heaviest question is “will it come back?” Soldato’s research offers data on how modifiable factors relate to recurrence risk in aggressive breast cancer.

What the study found

The analysis associated a better lifestyle and physical-activity profile with a lower risk of recurrence: up to 6 in 10 women with aggressive breast cancer in the most favorable groups avoided recurrence. It’s a signal that part of the risk is modifiable.

What it means for you during treatment

Working on your strength, body composition, and habits isn’t only about “feeling better”: it’s part of a strategy to protect the future, without replacing your medical treatment.

How IronHumans applies it

The method integrates exercise, nutrition, sleep, and stress management into one coherent system, measured over time, to support you through recovery and surveillance as well.
